<description>Agreed, link building is important but so is being linked on relevant content websites. I am aware that sites with a high PageRank (PR) also contributes to ranking in search engines.</description>

		<description>As&#039;Salam O Alaikum,

Subhan Allah, loads of good stuff. However, I found that there needs to be few more things, insha ALLAH hope to see them in part IV.

- Domain Name age: Yes Google does count this. We cant buy a domain name and wait for a year to have it become old, but if you really want to have this score already on your SEO-campaign, then you can buy the domains that have been expired, googling is worth to get the websites that offer the latest list of expired domains. Or you can go to an auction at www.flippa.com or forums.digitalpoint.com etc to purchase the old domain name, however, the price of domain over these websites are from individuals or specialized agencies so you will get a domain of your choice from $30.00 to $3000 or more (my random guess).

- Link building - Bad neighbor hood: When link-building do not go blindly, always research well that the site or directory you are posting is meaningful and is not violating any search engine rules by content or links etc.

- Link Building - Forums &amp; Blogs: If you are to post your links in forum signatures &amp; blogs, then confirm that the website in question have no do-follow attribute in links. There is already lot of information in http://forums.digitalpoint.com about this topic. For those who like, use FireFox and add-on Firebug, which you can use to see if particular anchor or link has rel=&quot;no-follow&quot; attribute or not

- Link Building - Relevancy &amp; Relation: relevant to the industry (niche) of your own website in question. For example, if I sell hijab, then relevant categories of interesting websites could be women clothes, more specific category could be mulsim women apparel, Islamic store etc, same goes for forums or blogs

- On-Site SEO: Nobody can deny the importance of on-site SEO efforts, its just a way to have your website develop to be a seo-friendly website, where you have to take special care when choosing URL scheme, Meta Description, Meta Keywords, Title, Anchor text, Image Element&#039;s alt attribute and of course content (Rule of thumb: content is King). Might be I have overlooked but I guess this topic is covered in chunks so if you dedicate some time, I am sure we will have nice information.

- Google Penalty: There are several things that if taken care of well before launching your website and then careful link-building and other seo-efforts, chances are you would not be penalized by google. Again &quot;content is king&quot; it must be unique no exception, and content means whatever main writeup of your website is, must be information, interesting and unique not a copy/paste dumb job. Remember SEO is like fishing you have to have much Sabr in getting the desire position (SERP) over search engine. Recently I had a website with around 28,000 pages, and I noticed that under my google webmaster account that 17,000 of those pages have duplicate title/description, of course it was due to the fact that I overlook my on-site seo-strategy, however we all learn by mistakes, so it took around a month and half to re-index those pages, thus my website re-appear in google.

Those who want to manually (I always prefer manual submission) submit their website to web-directories, do checkout http://info.vilesilencer.com/ and http://www.directorycritic.com/
