YouTube hacked today???

I am not sure what happened but today at about 21:27 I tried to access the YouTube and suddenly the screen came up with:
500 Internal Server Error
Sorry, something went wrong. A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation.

Has anybody else experienced that?
If it is the case than it again proves that no one is immune from hacker attacks and no website is 100% hacker safe. The perfection is from The Creator only.

yes dear, i am facing same problem. i think their is some problem at youtube.. or hacked !!
Yes I saw the same message as well but when I refreshed it was gone and showed the normal front page of Youtube. The site was definitely hacked but Google team reacted real fast on the issue.
I heard also that google was down for a while possibly dut to DOS attack
Amber DOS hasn't worked since the 90s. It's called DDoS.
I just got that message also and figured the same thing
Yesterday a friend got the same message too.
Can anyone 100% confirm this was a hack and not some technical glitch?

I don’t think it’s a technical glitch. If it was they wouldn’t put “monkey message”, would they?
Lol. Its probably just youtube having some humor and changing the 505 error page. i have encountered this three times. But i dont think its a hack
Wow, way to cause unnecessary confusion and drama.
It wasn’t “hacked”, nor was it ddos attacked.
That is not a hack. There was just a glitch.
Many websites have similar humurous messages on error pages (most commonly 404)
that is youtubes error message
Don’t worry it’s not a hack that is actually YouTubes message and the “monkey” thing was the staff at youtube trying to be funny.
But on Christmas I went to watch a video and for some reason there was this Chinese guy’s as tumbnail not only on one video on the CTFxC channel on Fred’s and on Shayne Dawson’s. Kinda freaky but well it will pass.
I know its late but i rember going on youtube and that came up but it was only a week or so ago … hmmmmmm
