What is RSS and why would I use it?

These days whichever site you go to, you may see this icon or something similar to it:

You can see it even in our blog
. Look at the top right hand corner! Some of us may know what it is and how to utilize it but the majority don’t, believe me they don’t!
So what is RSS?
According to Wikipedia RSS (abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format.
Any Simpler Explanation to RSS?
OK. There is a very useful video I found in YouTube that explains RSS in very plain English. After watching this video you may want to use RSS more often, inshallah. And don’t forget to subscribe to our RSS too
