Twitter Enters The Dictionary

“Web 2.0″ entering the English language as the millionth word was quite an achievement and now Twitter can stand up alongside Google with pride and joy with the news that ‘twitter’ will entered into the Collins English Dictionary as a verb and a noun!
It is every entrepreneur’s dream to have the name of his product becoming a verb, Hoover being the most widely known and used verb to date and Googled being the most recent. Microsoft though is never shy about wanting to compete and with their release of ‘Bing’ they are surely hoping to join this illustrious club.
Right, I’m off to tweet
