Shaikh Ahmad Kutty was educated in the traditional Islamic Sciences at Islamiyya College, Kerala, and at the Islamic University of Madina Munawwarah.  He received his ijazahs (licences/designations) as an ‘a’lim and faqih from both India and Saudi Arabia.  He earned his M.A from the University of Toronto and pursued doctoral studies at McGill University, Montreal and is now currently teaching at the Islamic Institute of Toronto.

Shaikh Ahmad Kutty is one of our Canadian Clients. Our services were highly recommended to him by another satisfied customer in Canada. He approached us requiring a re-design and re-vamp of his already existing site, wishing it to be more appealing to the eye and with a content management system.

Selecting the colours for a site is one of the most crucial parts of web design. Colour often evokes certain types of emotions in your visitor and it will set the mood for them while perusing your site. Websites with dark colours can represent a less conventional and more distinctive look.

The main objective of the Shaikh’s personal site is to disseminate Islamic Knowledge to the ummah through his writings, references, lectures & presentations etc, so we wanted to make his content as clear & apparent as possible, we hoped to have achieved this by adapting a dark background to his site which would centre the viewer’s attention more towards the content. We then broke it down slightly by adding a classic and subtle design with a soft light.

Most Islamic sites like these are almost always green & white, it was really nice to be able to implement these colours into the design in a unique eye catching way.

This is what Shaikh Ahmad Kutty himslef says about our service:

I appreciated the professionalism, diligence, and cooperative spirit Br. Sherzod and his team displayed while developing my web-site (askthescholar.com). They were patient with my less than ideal knowledge of the technicalities of the project,  ready to  explain them to me. I would gladly recommend their services to  all: Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
